About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Flutter Developer to help with code maintenance, dependency upgrades, and deployment of our mobile applications on both Android (Google Play Store) and iOS (Apple App Store). The app integrates with our WordPress backend, so knowledge of WordPress APIs (REST / GraphQL) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize existing Flutter codebase
- Update Flutter SDK and dependencies to the latest stable versions
- Ensure compatibility with the latest Android and iOS versions
- Debug, troubleshoot, and fix performance issues
- Integrate with WordPress APIs for content/data management
- Handle app store submissions (Play Store & App Store)
- Ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline for future updates
Requirements
- Proven experience in Flutter (Dart) for cross-platform mobile development
- Experience publishing apps to Google Play and Apple App Store
- Familiarity with WordPress REST API or GraphQL integrations
- Strong knowledge of Android Studio, Xcode, and version control (Git)
- Understanding of Firebase (Push Notifications, Crashlytics, Analytics) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and deliver within deadlines
Nice to Have
- Experience with WordPress plugin/theme customization
- Knowledge of app security best practices
- Familiarity with payment gateways or in-app purchases
Engagement Type
Contract / Freelance / Part-time (based on discussion).
